Overview
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
We have three lake view bedrooms each with their own bathroom plus a 1/2 bath. If you need an extra bed, you can use the comfy queen size sleeper sofa in the loft as an additional sleeping space, increasing the total sleeping accommodations to eight.
The primary bedroom is on the first floor. It has a lovely ensuite bathroom with slate floors, double sinks, a double-headed shower, and access to an outdoor shower. There’s also a bathtub for a relaxing soak and a bidet.
Additionally, a half bath is conveniently located off the main living area on the first level.
Upstairs, you’ll find two more spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Both bedrooms face the lake and have spectacular views right from the beds, both of which have queen-sized Casper mattresses. Many of our guests crack the windows to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the lake. One of the queen bedrooms has access to a private balcony, perfect for catching a picture of the beautiful sunrises over the lake.
The upper-level bathrooms are located in the hallway, providing easy access to both bedrooms. One has a walk-in shower, while the other is equipped with a shower/tub combo.
KITCHEN & LIVING/DINING ROOM
Our open floor plan allows you to cook while you interact with those in the dining or living room, making this the perfect spot for connecting with loved ones.
The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking meals for the whole family, and you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Michigan as you do so. We’ve provided pots, pans, dishes, spices, olive oil, paper products, a coffee maker (standard drip and Keurig), a mini food processor, a blender, a toaster, a microwave, utensils, a knife set, and more! We often have holidays at the house so we've tried to think of all the things a family needs to prepare meals at home.
We also have a propane Weber grill just outside the kitchen if you enjoy grilling. If you are wondering if we have a particular kitchen item, please don't hesitate to ask.
Once it comes time to eat, you can enjoy meals together around the handcrafted dining table. If you'd like more seating, we have a card table you can add on to expand seating from 6 to 8.
The cathedral ceiling living room has comfortable furniture and Door County stone, two-story fireplace. It has a propane starter for natural wood and our caretaker stocks dry wood right next to the fireplace. There’s no better spot relaxing as the sun or moon rises over the lake.
The upper-level loft has a Smart TV. We have Amazon Prime and YouTube TV for your favorite sports and shows. The loft converts to a 4th bedroom or playroom for the kids.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Our home is all about bringing the outdoors in, but we also have a fantastic outdoor space for you to enjoy during all four seasons. There’s a wooden deck along the lake’s edge with all-season Adirondack chairs and a fire pit - perfect for evening s’mores or early morning coffee.
There is also a new beautiful stone stairway to the lake.In the summer, you can launch your kayaks and canoes directly off our shore, and the deck attached to the house has plenty of spots for sitting back and enjoying the solitude of your surroundings.
We are 10 minutes from the town of Jacksonport, a darling community north of us, with the best meat counter in all of Door County. The store owner at Bleys' has meat from his pigs and cattle in his store cooler. It doesn't get any more farm-to-table than that! Jacksonport has a beautiful sandy beach and a classic playground for kids. There is also the Town Hall Bakery, the most down-home bakery you can imagine.
Across the peninsula, just 20 minutes away is Egg Harbor. They have the best grocery store in all of Door County: Main Street Market. Super wine collection, gourmet cheeses, fresh produce, and a wide selection of high-end food. Don't miss the frozen scones!! Also, our favorite boutique home goods store, Maxwell House, is a must.
Just 15 minutes north of us is Baileys Harbor, a bustling town with fabulous restaurants, cool shops and Door County Brewery, that has live music, great food in the high season, and friendly people.

Our home is located directly adjacent to Cave Point Park, a beautiful County park with high cliffs which the waves of Lake Michigan spectacularly crash against and create a spray at times of 15 to 30 feet.

We want you to have fun while in our home but we are NOT a PARTY House. If you want to invite guests over, their cars must fit within the driveway. Any exceptions must be cleared with the owner first.

~The loft has a 50" Smart TV with Amazon Prime and YouTube TV.
We hope you'll find as much pleasure in our home as we do.
Home Instructions will be sent to you upon booking along with driving directions. We'll share with you "things to do list" that benefits from our 50 years in Door County. It details shopping including groceries, exceptional nature trails that even some locals don't know about, sports, our favorite restaurants, and many fun things to do in the area.
